“I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor who offers a compassionate and warm presence. I have obtained a Master of Arts in Counselling and have formal training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, and Gottman’s method for family and couples.
I believe in creating a safe place for clients to feel heard and seen. My passion is empowering clients towards a path of healing, growth, and restoration. I work collaboratively with my clients in creating therapeutic goals, while providing a relaxed ambience and empathic understanding.
I use an integrative approach with my clients which may include aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and Gottman’s Relationship Framework. I also integrate breath work, visualization and grounding techniques, cognitive tools and mindfulness interventions through a trauma-informed lens.
My area of focus includes youth (14+), adults, and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, life transition, marital conflict, divorce, and women’s issues (infertility, miscarriage, postpartum). I come from a faith-based background which includes Christian-informed sessions upon request. I serve a diverse range of cultural background: BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ friendly.
I also offer online counselling for those in BC, MB, NL, NT, NU, SK, YT.”
